A Guide On How To Become A Pro Gamer In Rust

Rust has to be one of the greatest online multiplayer survival games out there, without a doubt. The game is incredibly competitive and is undoubtedly a great delight for those who love multiplayer games. A beginner pro gamer is likely to be overwhelmed by the world of Rust.

Rust is all about survival skills. So, if it is your first time or if you are looking for ways to get better at Rust, make sure to read this guide. This guide will provide you with all the necessary tips to become a complete master at survival.

The Servers

When you open the Rust game, the first important choice you will have to make is to decide what server to play on. If you are a beginner player, it might not be such a great idea to go on a server filled with way too many players. If you do so, you might become discouraged very quickly as you are not likely to last for very long in the presence of highly skilled players.

Instead, search for a server that is suitable for your level. You can easily do this by going to the ‘community servers’ option in the menu and searching for a suitable server for novices or practice.

Your Base

This game is all about making the right choices and picking the right strategies. You will want to find a good place to create a base and hide. Ideally, the base must be surrounded by important resources that will help you advance in the game. You will want to focus on gathering lots of wood to build a good base.

For instance, the best place to build a base has to be the forest or near an old town where you get plenty of resources and, more importantly, protection. Also, keep in mind that the base you build is subject to decay. Hence, you will have to be proactive in the maintenance and care of your base.

It is best to build two or more rooms with locked doors where you can store your items. Just like in real life, it is a good practice to lock your doors behind whenever you want to go outside. In Rust, there is nothing more heartbreaking than losing all your stash.

Make sure not to store all your items into one base as you might later regret this decision. It is best to store your items on several bases and, more importantly, create a farce to players that you don’t have many items or resources with you.

Monuments

If you are a beginner player, it is best to enter small monuments as they contain no radiation. You also get a pretty small and reasonable sized loot in small monuments. The protective gear you will find in these loots will help you prepare to enter radioactive monuments and abandoned buildings.

Work on Your Aim

You can start by practicing in an aim training server which you will find in the modded server section. Like all online multiplayer and first-person shooter games, you will want to aim for the head. In Rust, there is no point in shooting at the knees. You might notice that the player lose blood, but they won’t take any damage or lose health.

If you find yourself in a server with many experienced players or cheaters and want to survive the game at any cost, you might want to consider using one of the many rust hacks to gain an advantage over these players.

Farming

You will be doing a lot of farming in this game. Most professional players recommend that it is best to farm in moderation. While a player certainly has an opportunity to take their time out and collect lots of resources, this time is wasted if they die right after all the hard work.

Torches and Campfires

There is nothing worse than moving around with a torch at nighttime and making yourself an open target to your opponents. What sets a beginner player apart from an experienced player is that the experienced player knows how to take advantage of the dark.

Also, be careful when lighting a campfire at nighttime. Try to do all your cooking in the daytime as much as possible. Keep an eye on how much food you have and how much you need to cook to survive and last longer.

In Conclusion

By following all the tips and strategies mentioned in this guide, you are on your way to becoming a professional gamer. Always focus on mastering the basics first before trying advanced techniques and methods.
