New Technology Gadgets In 2017

Two Thousand and Seventeen (2017) is here, and with the advent of this new exciting year, there are a lot of high expectations for it. We have new things to look forward to, discoveries to make, and new experiences ahead of us. The technological world, in particular, certainly has a punch for use in-store in 2017. What can we look forward to or be awe-inspired by in the technology world this year?

Here is a list of a few of the new technological gadgets you can keep tabs on or be excited about in 2017:

1. Lenovo Smart Assistant

Are you a fan of the Amazon Echo? If yes, then you will love this product. Lenovo brings to you a cheaper, sleeker, and more charming and colorful alternative to Amazon Echo their very own Lenovo Smart Assistant. It includes Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant, so you can enjoy the same capabilities and features of Amazon’s corresponding gadget.

2. Dell 2-in-1 Convertible Laptop

Dell introduced the Latitude 7285 and the new XPS 13 models this year in their 2 in 1 convertible laptop category. The Latitude 7285 is designed to be a close rival of the Surface Pro 4 and looks more like a laptop than other competitors in this category. The new XPS 13 is an improvement from its predecessor and includes a new rotating hinge feature that allows you to be comfortable using it in any position you like – even using it as a tab with a 360-degree rotation.

3. Asus Zenfone AR

The next item on the list of technology gadgets to be excited about in 2017 is the Asus Zenfone AR. As its name suggests, augmented reality is no longer restricted to additional AR devices, such as smart glasses or headsets. You can now enjoy augmented and virtual reality experiences right on your smartphone with this new Asus smartphone.

The Asus Zenfone AR supports the two Google platforms, namely Tango and Daydream, that make the virtual reality experience possible. The smartphone hardware is hard-wired to track motion, recognize depth, and adapt to its surroundings to create AR and VR applications.

4. Intel’s Credit Card-Sized Computer

This year, Intel brings to us a solution that we will need now and, more importantly, shortly as technology makes huge advancing leaps. Today, laptops and desktops are designed to be customizable and can be upgraded very easily, unlike the ones in the past. But, what about the smart home appliances and the robots that we will use shortly?

Intel’s Credit Card-Sized Computer Card is the solution for these gadgets. It is a mini-computer that can be easily inserted into smart devices, such as security cameras, smart refrigerators, and retail kiosks. So, upgrading their software when new standards are implemented is as easy as exchanging the card when needed and there is no need to buy and replace it with new equipment.

These are just a few of the technological gadgets to be excited about in 2017. It is just the tip of the iceberg and there are many more interesting, mesmerizing gadgets that you need to look out for.
