Four Fun Games To Play With Friends

Whether you are planning a weekend getaway, hosting a game night, or just looking for some lively entertainment, you don’t want your guests to be bored. You’ll want to have a variety of different fun games to offer your guests to make sure you can bring different friend groups together, encourage friendly competition, and host a games night for everyone to remember.

Charades Challenge

Charades is a classic party game that never fails to entertain, it works for a variety of different ages and often ends up in hysterics once you realise how badly off-base you really were. First you’ll want to divide players into teams. Then, make a bowl (a hat can serve the same purpose) and create some charade options – films, TV shows, books etc – and take turns acting out the words or phrases without speaking while teammates guess within a time limit.

Trivia Showdown

This can be a great way to test your general knowledge against your friend with a trivia night showdown. You can make your own trivia cards, or online resources, to challenge your friends on everything from pop culture to history. Top tip: try and have a selection of different categories so somebody who isn’t particularly au fait with one subject will have a chance in another.

Popular casino games

Transform your space into your own Vegas – grab games like Bingo, roulette or blackjack. With bingo you can even have the cards filled with inside jokes, shared memories, or themed images that players can mark off the squares as they’re called out. For a more traditional game, you can use apps and play games like Slingo, without having to get all the equipment.

Pictionary Party

Pictionary can be great fun, as unless you have an artist friend, it often devolves into a certain type of madness. Players take turns drawing clues while their teammates try to guess the word or the phrase – make sure you have a selection of good pens so people don’t have to share, and a large whiteboard can be helpful!
