Fashion Brands To Watch In 2022

These days, the fashion industry is bursting with new brands, fresh ideas, and an infinity of options. This is good in the sense that we have the luxury of choice, but where do we even begin? In this article, we are going to have a look at some fashion brands that have risen up over the past few years and are definitely ones to keep watching in 2022 and beyond.

1. ThirdLove – Lingerie

ThirdLove is now a huge online retailer of bras and underwear, competing with the biggest names in the game. They have found their success in a short space of time, as they were founded in 2013, but are now a commonly known brand.

The idea behind the company was to create inclusivity, for all women to be able to find lingerie that works for their body, no matter their shape or size. The concept was built when co-founder Heidi Zak partnered with David Spector (ThirdLove) on the premise that she couldn’t find underwear that was comfortable and beautiful.

So, they created their own, and now over 19 million women have used their ‘perfect fit finder’ tool on their website. ThirdLove is showing no signs of slowing down – they have over 350,000 Instagram followers and counting – and their rise is only expected to continue in 2022.

2. Louisa Ballou – Resortwear

Bursting onto the fashion scene in 2018, Louise Ballou has since had various high-profile individuals sporting their clothing—Bella Hadid, Kylie, and Kendall Jenner, and Megan Thee Stallion are just some of these well-known names.

And it’s easy to see why: the brand takes inspiration from nature, art, design, and literature to create vibrant, eye-catching clothing, perfect for vacations. As the world opens up more now that COVID-19 isn’t restricting us as much as it was last year, this will definitely be a fashion brand to watch in 2022.

3. Samara: Bags

‘Better for you, better for the world – no living thing is harmed in the process’. This is one of the taglines on the Samara website, a brand that has created a range of sleek, stylish bags with the environment in mind.

Set up at the end of 2017, Samara is eco-friendly and vegan, without compromising on the quality of its products. This kind of ethos is the future of fashion, therefore, Samara is another one to keep on your watch list for the year.

4. Seventy + Mochi – Denim Clothing

Continuing with the foundation of sustainability, Seventy + Mochi is another brand that keeps the planet in mind with its work. Made with recycled materials with minimal impact on the environment, whilst also paying all their employees a living wage, this is a ‘kinder denim’ business. Not only that, but their products are very cool—treat yourself to some guilt-free dungarees! Another brand that is likely to soar in the near future.

With so many refreshing brands on the fashion scene at the moment, shaking it up, it’s an exciting time for the industry. We’re looking forward to seeing where the next few years take these businesses on our watch list.
