Android 7.0 Nougat Will Bring 5 Best Features Into The Device

Google’s new Android 7.0 Nougat update has amazing features that are ready to load in Samsung, OnePlus, Lenovo, Motorola, LG, Sony, Xiaomi, and many other smartphones.

Google devices Pixel and Pixel XL have already been loaded with Android 7.1 Nougat OS straight from the box. Currently, smartphone companies are working on their smartphones to bring in the Android 7.0 Nougat update on the announced list of devices in the tech market.

According to Android Central, Google has not made any major changes in the way how phone looks. But, under the hood, Google has come up with new features to the all-time favorite operating system of smartphone users.

Mobile data usage:

The biggest concern is the apps running in the background and consuming a lot of mobile data, which in turn disappoints the current mobile user generations. Android 7.0 Nougat has a new feature added to it.

The data-saving setting blocks random background data usage and restricts data consumption on updating emails and Facebook or Twitter notifications.

Multi-Window Tasking:

According to BGR Google has made a good introduction to multitasking facilities in its new version of Android 7.0 Nougat. The users can now open two apps side by side, thus allowing watching YouTube videos simultaneously with Facebook activities or emails with Twitter notifications and much more.

This feature will give a real feel for the multitasking abilities of smartphones. The two apps working simultaneously will divide the screen half by half for easy usage.

Improved security:

Security is one of the basic needs in smartphones currently. Keeping data private and secure is very important. A new feature in the Android 7.0 Nougat update will keep the security risks at high importance.  Basic apps like phone calls, text messages or Alarms are made available without passwords or pins. The other apps are indeed made secure until and unless passwords or pins are inserted.

In Android 7.0 Nougat, access to apps is limited based on the user’s requirement and denies access to whole external storage or internal storage unnecessarily.

The geo-location API is allowed over secure origins, this policy is designed to secure the information of the users when accessed to unknown internet sources.

Less battery usage and faster phone performance:

According to Android Central,  “Project Doze’ – Google’s development which was introduced with the Marshmallow version has got an update in this latest Android 7.0 Nougat version. This feature restricts the phone from using unnecessary battery power when the phone is not in the user’s hand.

When the phone screen is off for a while, the background running things comes to a halt and uses what Google calls ‘Windows” to check for new messages and update the user’s location.

Android 7.0 Nougat has also the capability to manage the memory in a better way and doesn’t allow many unnecessary things to happen in the background. Thus, allowing the required user apps to run which makes the phone perform faster and saves battery discharge.

Android TV recording and picture-in-picture:

Basic DVR functionality will be soon available with Android TV 7.0. The users can schedule the TV programs and record them as being watched.

This feature adds pleasure for TV viewers using Android-based smartphones and indeed great English serials with all seasons can be recorded at the time of watching.
