An open mind allows for innovation and creativity, which will improve your business as well as your personal life.

Step 2: Set high standards

Set high standards for yourself. You’ll have a harder time being a good leader if you don’t have high standards for yourself to begin with. It’s not enough to simply say “I want to lead.” You need to know what the standards are, and you need to hold yourself accountable for meeting them.

Step 3: Focus on your strengths

Most people focus on their weaknesses and try to compensate for them by pretending they’re something they’re not.
