Razer has recently launched its new laptop, which is basically an improved and upgraded version of the 2018 Blade model. The Razer Blade 2019 model might be identical to last year’s model and have a big price tag attached to it, but it is still one of the thinnest gaming laptops on the market right now. With Nvidia RTX graphics and improved battery life, the 2019 model gets even better and even touches the benchmark. So, how does it compete with the other gaming laptops on the market?

Let’s check it out in the Razer Blade 2019 review below:

Design

Just like last year’s Razer Blade, the 2019 model is just like that—the same aluminum body and black design. The RGB lighting in this device looks better this time—at the keyboard and logo of Razer. The device is thicker than the previous model and it gets inner screen bezels which makes the 14-inch laptop with 15 inch display and you can get amazing deals on this laptop by using Flipkart Sale offers. The webcam is placed in the perfect position. Although, the bezels are quite thin. The device measures 13.98 x 9.25 x 0.70 inches which make it thin but not thinner than the last model. Also, the new Blade device weighs around 2.10kg which doesn’t make it much light- it is medium-ly heavy.

Design

The keyboard looks fantastic and works fantastically too- an island-style keyboard. The previous keyboard problems are not fixed yet as the “Up” key sits between the “Shift” and “?” key.

Coming to the trackpad, the trackpad feels nice just like before. It is smooth and sound but the pad is really close to the laptop’s edge. The new feature in this device is that the company has brought Windows Hello facial recognition in the device. Though it is not the fastest, the speed is good, and the feature’s presence means a lot.

The device gets one Thunderbolt 3 port, three USB 3.1, one DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.0, and a headphone jack.

Display

Coming to the display, Razer Blade 2019 is a perfect one as they have not changed anything from last year’s one. It has a 15.6-inch FHD Matte display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The display is 1080p, which is pretty nice with the 144Hz refresh rate. The animations and motion come out thanks to the GPU inside it. The device has Nvidia’s new ray tracing and deep learning supersampling (DLSS) for rendering lights in gaming sessions. The color comes out bright and vibrant on the display.

Performance

The device goes up to three thousand dollars, so you must expect a “bananas” performance both in games and daily tasks. The 2019 Razer Blade doesn’t disappoint you in any way.

Frame rates are just incredibly good in the high-graphics game. Even this device gets better than the old one in gaming sessions. Razer Blade 2019 uses a vapor chamber cooling system with a custom vapor chamber and cutting-edge thermal material which will dissipate heat and enhance your laptop’s performance. Under the hood, you get a 2.2GHz Intel Core i7-8750H coupled with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. The device gets Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 and Intel UHD Graphics 630 for buttery smooth gaming sessions. On the GeekBench 4, the 2019 model of Razer Blade scored 5,032 on single-core while on multi-core, it scored 19,064.

Battery Life

This year’s Razer Blade gives you better battery performance than the last year’s one. Though the device packs the same 80Whr lithium-ion battery as in the last model, still there is about 80–90 percent of improvement in this Blade model. Even this device lasted 95 percent longer than the last one in the 1080p video playback test. In addition to this you can also buy a laptop of similar configuration by using Snapdeal Sale offers. The device can give you 6-7 hours easily, which is good when you talk about gaming laptops. So, you finally get a Razer gaming laptop which will give you incredible longevity.

Software and Other Features

There is no third-party software installed in this Razer device- that’s clearly a really nice thing about this device. Yes, you get Synapse, the company’s intuitive system for playing with the RGB lighting in the laptop. Although it only works for keyboards,. The app also gives you options for “Gaming” and “Creator,” which are both GPU and CPU boost.

Final Verdict

The latest Razer Blade is the improved version of last year’s Razer Blade and is also one of the best gaming laptops in the market right now. From gaming performance to battery life improvement, this laptop has all that an incredible gaming laptop requires. This time Razor has come with Windows Hello in this device but you might not like it as it is slow- way slow. Moreover, the keyboard layout is a little goofy. Also, this laptop might be priced very heavily in the market. Long put, if you do spend way more money on 2019 Razer Blade, you won’t regret it.
